Best 4 Oily-Skin Daytime Moisturizers

After so many trial and errors, I finally found my top moisturizer loves to help with my oily skin. I discovered a few that I believe help with minimizing or control my oily skin. I am sharing with you all in hopes these can help you.

I have tried so many from drug store moisturizers to other classified as natural or organic moisturizers. To other much more expensive brands. The list can go on. But let’s focus on the ones I have try and have succeeded. In hopes some of the ones I have tried can help you manage your oily skin problems.

Caudalie

VinoSource, Moisturizing Sorbet

This moisturizer feels so light weight. It is a gel cream packed with antioxidants such as Organic Grape Water, grape seed polyphemols which helps to minimize the effect of free radicals, pollution and sun damage. And Chamomile to help soothe the skin. This product help improve my skin texture so much and it gives me much more a softer appearance look. I think the gel cream consistency attributes to a matte finish which really helps minimize my oil production throughout the day.  The price is a bit expensive at 1.3oz its $40.

January Labs

Moisture Balance Lotion

This is a light white gel consistency plant based. It feels soft to the skin without causing irritation. It is just enough to help the skin feel smooth, soft and balance. This product is classified as clean. Its active ingredients include squalene, shea butter, green tea, aloe extract, avocado oil, chamomile, olive and linseed oil.  It has so many nourishing oils. It is important to highlight that even though we struggle with oily skin, let’s not be afraid of it because it helps balance and provide more moisture to our skin. It is important how the product can be balance with other ingredients to help the skin look brighten rather than oily. And this product does a great job. This is such a good day time product because its light and it does not cause any irritation or tightness. This product costs $28.

Drunk Elephant

Lala Retro Whipped Cream

This product provides a light white crème consistency. This is a rich moisturizer yet it feels light to the skin. You do not need to put on too much product, a little bit can go along way. This product includes ingredients such as Six Rare African Oil Blend, Ceramides which protects against the loss of water, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer for hydration and decreasing the look of fine lines. The product is considered “clean at sephora” as it excludes various toxic chemicals that are bad for the skin, especially for anyone that struggles with skin issues. It carries a hefty price tag $60 but it can lasts between 3-4months.

Zyderma HS

Clarifying Cream

This is such an amazing product for oily skin gals, like myself. It is nurturing, balancing and hydrating with minimal oil production throughout the day. It is a light weight, hypoallergenic with a grey consistency. The ingredients include water, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, propanediol, silver, xantham gum. It is dermatologists tested, if that is important to you. Not as much as with me, personally, as I have to judge a product based on my own needs. But, nonetheless, it is good to note, especially because its hypoallergenic. That is important, us oily skin gals need to consider. The price tag comes in at $42 at CREDO.

Learning about the best products for your skincare can be a challenge and bring upon a hopeless experience. The best place to start is researching your skin issues and what type of ingredients can help combat the issue. It can take several attempts until something can stick. Please do not give up. The price tag on skincare can be steep but think of it as an investment for your skin health.

I would like to add that skincare is a top surface layer, as much as we need to protect our skin from environmental stressors, anti-aging, sun damage and acne. We also need to consider other factors that may contribute to our skin issues, such as the quality of water. I wrote a blogpost about the Benefits of Filtered Water. Adding quality water to your skincare needs can only help our skin.

I would love to know which are your fave and if they are in this list. Hopefully this list can help inspire you to try them.
