A one day tour city in Polanco. Polanco is such a lush and upscale neighborhood in the heart of Mexico City. Polanco is very much filled with glamorous and grandeur restaurants, bars, shopping, bakeries, coffee shops and very cute independent own boutiques.  

Polanco is a very stylish community. The homes appear so modern with a splash of cultural uniqueness. There are so many luxury apartments. The atmosphere is vibrant and hip. You can walk down a path and observe such fluidity within the members of the town. Everyone appears to know each other.  It is definitely a town to explore.  

Shopping on Avenida Presidente Masaryk

First thing is first, the shopping. This cosmopolitan shopping plaza is known to carry very big brand names, such GUCCI, Versace, Tiffany, Cartier, Louis Vitton and so many more.  Take a leisure walk and explore all the famous and fashionable brands.

Pasaje Polanco

This is such a cute Spanish style boutique shopping center. This shopping center is much more intimate and grandeur. Spend your day walking, enjoy a restaurant, grab a pastry and mingle with others.

 Museo National de Antropologia (National Museum of Antropology)

This historic museum is located in the Bosque Chapultepec (Chapultepec Forest) and it holds some of the greatest artifacts dating back to Mexico’s pre-Columbian era. Here, you will see the famous Aztec Calendar Stone, the Aztec arts, games, beauty, life, dancing and so much more.

They have beautiful garden fountains with so much plush greenery and nature like features. The museum demonstrates expositions, how life was lived, display culture values and food. This is a large museum, give yourself the day to explore as much as you can.

Museo Soumaya

It is a private, non-profit cultural establishment situated in Polanco. The museum has two exhibitions in Mexico City, Plaza Carso and Plaza Loreto along with Casa Guillermo Tovar de Teresa. The museum demonstrates several Mexican and Latin-America, plus Venecia collections and galleries. It is built so historically yet it has a modern touch. They portray cultural and historical significance in their story-telling.

Calzada de los Poetas

Located in the Bosque de Chapultepec. This very lush and greenery park which holds a historic place because they hold very important statues of poets and artists. Definitely, take a leisure walk and enjoy the nature surrounding this park. 

There is so much to explore and appreciate. Take a picnic basket and partake on the calmness of the nature. From the trees to the plants, take in all the goodness of this nature park.
